PHILIPPE MICHIELS - DIRECTOR
Philippe Michiels, partner and co-founder of Alphasoft. Philippe studied electronics and has over twenty years experience in Software Development and IT Systems Engineering. He has worked for systems houses and systems integrators as a Systems Programmer, European Software Manager, Systems Development Consultant, Software Architect on high performance CAD systems, networked software applications and multi-user database systems.

Philippe manages a team of skilled professionals specialising in systems design and software development utilising the most up to date technologies and techniques. Recent projects include a business advisor tool for Microsoft bCentral (used by Norwich Union as an Insurance Advisor tool), a downloadable Outlook calendar tool for Microsoft MSN (used for the FIFA World CUP '06 and Orange Wednesdays campaign) and a data management application for Hamptons International estate agents group.

EDDIE PARKER - DIRECTOR
Eddie Parker, partner and co-founder. Eddie has over twenty years experience in the IT industry working for systems houses. His background is in business applications development. He has designed and implemented fully integrated business solutions for numerous sectors. His background of consultancy, systems analysis, software development and implementation enables him to work with clients in order to identify their specific needs. Many of these applications entail not only custom software development but also system integration, often working with third parties.

Significant implementations include several national next day parcel companies, a large retail chain, manufacturing, distribution and financial management information for charities.

NEIL SMITH - NETWORK CONSULTANT
Neil has dfgover 9 years experience of Windows based infrastructures and is MCSE qualified. Projects include a fibre optic network backbone for Lords Cricket ground, an IT business plan creation for the Marylebone Cricket Club and a multi platform network for a large multi-national services company. Neil has extensive product knowledge and has the management and training skills to drive the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) issue as part of the full services IT delivery at Alphasoft. Knowledge of the combined power of the Microsoft Technology Stack and the network connectivity products provides clients with the right solutions for the job.

DOUGLAS GILMORE - .NET DEVELOPER
Douglas has a post graduate diploma in Information Systems from Leeds. With over 6 years of software development experience, Douglas specialises in object orientated development using Microsoft .NET (C#). He has worked on projects delivering e-learning delivery platforms, enterprise content management systems and a data warehousing system for the NHS Integrated Primary Care Project.

DAOMING YANG - .NET DEVELOPER
Daoming is a .NET software developer who holds a M.Sc. In Information Management from the University of Sheffield. He has worked on a variety of projects and technologies using his expertise in Microsoft .NET 3.5 C# and SQL Server 2005 technologies. His database query and analysis skills were utilised in a recent project for the Press Association Photos news agency.

IAN BOARDMAN - SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Ian is an independent software developer with over fifteen years experience in software development. He also has a Degree in Engineering from Oxford University. Experience includes .NET/C#, Excel Macros, Microsoft SQL Server, and other current Microsoft Languages, along with AlphaBASIC and Motorola M68 Assembler. This breadth of experience means that Ian can help integrate disparate technologies within a single project.Ian has completed many successful projects including a corporation-wide Maintenance Manager for Watchtower, and a graphical interface for legacy, character based, Alpha Micro software, iGUI.

He is certified in Visual Studio .NET and his skills base includes ASP.NET (C#), Microsoft SQL Server and Internet technologies such as XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP, VBScript and accessibility. Thomas is experienced in full lifecycle web site development and has completed a number of recent commissions utilising sophisticated CMS systems, email marketing and web service integration technologies.

STEVE FRENCH - DATABASE DEVELOPER AND PROJECT MANAGER
Steve French is an application developer and IT consultant specialising in database design, Microsoft Access, VBA, ASP and HTML. He has been an IT specialist for over 15 years and has designed databases and web sites for local authorities, medical organisations, many national arts organisations, race equality councils, universities, venture capital companies and many others.
